What to know before booking

This campground is located along the Huntington Canyon National Scenic Byway on Utah Highway 31. Lower Little Bear provides a double site that can accommodate 12 people and a group site that can accommodate 40 people. The canyon area has numerous lakes and streams, vibrant summer wildflowers, colorful fall foliage, and abundant wildlife.

Facilities

Lower Little Bear provides a double site that can accommodate 12 people and a group site that can accommodate 40 people. At this campground you will find graveled parking spur, picnic tables, Dutch oven stands, serving tables, pedestal grills and fire ring with benches. This campground does not have water on site but potable water can be located at Stuart Guard Station 7 miles away. There is also no restroom on site but a restroom can be accessed 1/3 mile north of Lower Little Bear Campground.

The canyon area has numerous lakes and streams, vibrant summer wildflowers, colorful fall foliage, and abundant wildlife.

Recreation

Popular activities include fishing, hunting, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, rock climbing, and scenic driving. The six-mile Left Fork of the Huntington National Recreation Trail, for hiking and horses, is nearby, as is the 10-mile Fish Creek trail, for hiking, biking and horses.
